I’m Madeline Nguyen, an award-winning print/digital reporter and editor who specializes in producing enterprise-style stories exploring nuanced topics related to business and health. I've spent my career as a student journalist producing enterprise and longer-form stories that report across differences and reach across disparities into the communities who are affected by underreported issues, which I've continued to do in my current position as a health disparities digital reporter at the Washington, D.C., bureau of Arizona PBS — Cronkite News.
With experience as a reporter, managing editor and executive editor at publications across Arizona, New York City and Washington, I’m skilled in copy editing, interviewing, AP style, international reporting and the Adobe Suite. My stories have won me numerous honors and awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing, to name a few. My work has been featured in USA TODAY, Fast Company, The Arizona Republic, Arizona PBS — Cronkite News, Phoenix New Times, PHOENIX magazine and a range of other local publications throughout Arizona.
